BELL Group's Biogas projects use anaerobic digestion to treat the effluent gas and to generate methane-rich biogas, a mixture of CO₂, CH₄ (methane) and trace gases produced from anaerobically digested organic matter. Our 2MW Biogas power plant, commissioned in 2010, is noted to be the first grid-connected, CDM-Based Biogas power plant in Malaysia.

Our Biogas facilities also generate sufficient energy to be self-sustaining and to supply surplus energy to the grid.
